I stared unnoticed from the safety of the distance,
The mask you wore was loosely tied.
Fate made it fall, the silk lace offered no resistance,
No longer would I wait, I made my move...
(It was my demon that had spurred the action, wasn't love.)
A few well-chosen words,
A humorous reply,
And now I hold you by the hand and leaves float by,
As our lips united dance their waltz.
And after our silent parting
There's nothing left but memories
Of some unlaced mask, a late night autumn party,
The alley's darkness, and of pleasure muffled cries.
